LT1102 Polyether Polyol

Pour-in-Place Applications

• Designed for versatile insulation and structural applications, our pour-in-place foam expands or cures directly inside cavities to form an efficient insulating, sealing, and reinforcing layer. It bonds firmly to metal, plastic, wood, and other substrates, supporting complex shapes and custom designs while enhancing energy efficiency and durability.

LT1102 is a premium two-component polyurethane system formulated with polyether polyol, polyester polyol, foam stabilizer, catalyst, blowing agent, and flame retardant. Combined with polymeric MDI, it delivers superior insulation performance, excellent processability, and long-term durability.

Isocyanate Component
Isocyanate: Polymeric MDI

Applications & Key Features

LT1102 is ideal for small equipment foam-filling applications such as:

  • Thermal insulation tanks and barrels
  • Water heaters and storage systems
  • Yachts and marine vessels
  • Construction and building insulation projects

The LT1102 meets European and U.S. environmental standards, offering smooth handling, excellent flowability, uniform foam structure, low thermal conductivity, high strength, and exceptional adhesion to various substrates.

Control Tests

The main testing parameters include reaction characteristics such as cream time and fiber time, and the core density of the free-rise foam.

Test Method: 120 g of total material at 25°C is poured into a 500 ml plastic cup to observe reaction behavior.

Parameter Value
Agitator Speed (rpm) 1000–2000
Agitator Diameter (mm) 50
Mixing Time (s) 6–10

Notes: After mixing, pour the mixed ingredients into a new cup.

Reaction Results

Test Item     Reference Range     Unit      Test Result
Cream Time 6–20 s 10
Fiber Time 40–80 s 60
Tack-Free Time 50–120 s 86
Free-Rise Density 25–40 kg/m³ 35.6

Notes: Test temperature: 25°C, and mixing ratio P: I = 100:108 (P= LT1102, I = Polymeric MDI)
